1. Cheekwood Botanical Gardens

1200 Forrest Park Drive
Nashville, TN 37205

Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is a sprawling estate in Nashville that offers both natural and manmade art. With flower gardens, a bamboo garden and a mansion open for tours, Cheekwood is the perfect spot for a first date or a special anniversary celebration.

Grab a bite to eat at the Pineapple Room or stroll along the Sculpture Trail. Cheekwood also offers a rotating schedule of visiting artists whose works represent a variety of media.

If you or your significant other enjoys art and the outdoors, Cheekwood is an ideal Nashville date spot.

2. Miel Restaurant

343 53rd Avenue North
Nashville, TN 37209

A tiny, unassuming bistro located right behind Bobby’s Dairy Dip off of Charlotte Avenue, Miel offers delicious farm-to-table French fare that’s perfect for a relaxed yet sophisticated date night.

Entrees include pork shoulder, roasted chicken and beef cheeks. Miel also offers a considerable list of wines, with some dessert and sparkling varieties added for good measure. For dessert, choose between an artisanal cheese plate, or sweets like profiteroles or buttermilk panna cotta.

3. The Patterson House

1711 Division Street
Nashville, TN 37203

Tucked away on the corner on Division Street and 18th Avenue, The Patterson House brings the traditions and nuances of a Prohibition-era speakeasy to life. It’s worth a peek behind the velvet curtains. From the dim lighting, to the upholstered banquettes, to the tin ceilings, The Patterson House combines ambiance and expertise to create some truly unforgettable cocktails. The servers and bartenders here are extremely knowlegable, friendly and able to walk you through the menu and make recommendations based on your own tastes. The Patterson House also offers small plates and appetizers, in case you find yourself in need of a bite while you sip on handcrafted cocktails.

4. East Nashville

Arguably one of the city’s hottest neighborhoods, there’s plenty to see and do on date night on the other side of the Cumberland River. The Wild Cow, a vegetarian restaurant, provides some welcome dietary relief from the meat and threes around town, though you’re welcome to test your mettle at Prince’s Hot Chicken. Satisfy your sweet tooth with a scoop or two from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. Stop by The 5 Spot for some live music and after-dinner drinks.

5. The Nashville Symphony

1 Symphony Place
Nashville, TN 37201

At the Nashville Symphony, you can enjoy classical music, interpretations of contemporary classics, and world famous entertainers. A night at the Symphony is the perfect opportunity to dress up and enjoy a sophisticated night out with the one you love.

February’s calendar at the Nashville Symphony features big band, pop, Motown, classical and more. Legendary artist Frankie Valli will be performing with the Nashville Symphony on February 14 and 15, and The Temptations will light up the stage February 16, 17 and 18.
