If you’re interested in booking a Nashville tour with Signature Transportation, you have a few options for where to go and what to do. You can head south to Lynchburg to visit the Jack Daniel’s Distillery, experience Nashville’s live music scene, or tour the local art galleries. Whatever your interests, Signature has a tour that can help you experience Music City like a local.

One of our favorite tours is Nashville Neighborhoods, which takes guests into some of the city’s unique neighborhoods. East Nashville is one of those unique neighborhoods. It’s a community where many of Music City’s creatives reside and work.

If you’re visiting East Nashville, here are some great places to check out.

1. Five Points

As Nashville’s unofficial hipster headquarters, Five Points is home to a bunch of great bars, small businesses, and noteworthy eateries. 3 Crow Bar is a local favorite, with its famous Bushwacker cocktails, open air vibe, and ample outdoor seating. Five Points Pizza serves up the best slice in Nashville, and Bongo East is noted for some of Music City’s most loved coffee. If you’re looking for a nicer, sit-down meal, Rumours East and The Treehouse Restaurant are sure to please. Fanny’s House of Music is a great stop for music enthusiasts, and it also has a decent selection of vintage clothing and jewelry.

2. Goodbuy Girls

This vintage clothing shop offers a ton of vintage and contemporary styles, including clothing, shoes, trinkets, and more. Goodbuy Girls has even gained national recognition from major publications like Nylon, Vogue, and New York Magazine. The 320-square-foot shop, located in The IDEA Hatchery, sells a variety of country western-inspired styles and was even named one of the best places to find a pair of cowboy boots in Nashville.

3. Fond Object Records

This stop on McGavock Pike combines the virtues of a record store, a boutique, and a vintage outlet. It’s a truly unique East Nashville experience. Check out Fond Object’s record collection and clothing selection, admire some local art, and maybe meet an East Nashvillian or two. If you stop by at the right time, you could enjoy an in-store performance too.

4. The 5 Spot

If you want to stop off for a cheap drink and mingle with some of East Nashville’s finest, The 5 Spot is the place to go. The 5 Spot is known for their weekly dance parties, including swing dancing and Motown music on Monday nights. It’s also known for hosting live music every night of the week. The 5 Spot is a must-visit in East Nashville.

5. Riverside Grillshack

Arguably the best burger and fries in East Nashville, Riverside Grillshack is a carryout cafe on Riverside Drive. Burgers start with a patty made from grass-fed local beef from Porter Road Butcher and pair perfectly with their famous Boardwalk-style french fries. Aside from burgers, Grillshack also offers a veggie burger, grilled cheese, wedge salads, and wings.

Enjoy your Nashville Neighborhoods tours with stops at any of these great locations. You’ll be immersed in local culture and get an authentic look at one of Music City’s best neighborhoods, all while enjoying the services of a professional chauffeur and a great luxury vehicle.
