Event Details

The fun of an Opryland Christmas kicks off on November 8, 2019, and continues through January 1, 2020. You do not have to be an overnight guest at the Gaylord Opryland Resort to take advantage of all of the festivities, however, there are special packages that allow you to combine lodging with your selected holiday fun events.

Ice

This popular presentation is a must-see event this Christmas season. This year’s theme features the classic holiday tale, “A Christmas Story.” This story will come to life before your eyes with interactive ice sculptures, legendary scenes from the famous film, and so much more. Everything in the production is hand-carved from two million pounds of ice, making this spectacle something that you truly have to see for yourself to believe.

Shows to Experience

Your Opryland Christmas experience is not complete without taking in one of the amazing shows. With so many diverse options to choose from, it is easy to find the perfect show for your party’s preferences and tastes. Ideas to consider include the family-friendly Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, the General Jackson Showboat Holiday Cruise, or the stirring production of The Gift of Christmas with Trace Adkins & Friends.

Other Activities

In addition to the dazzling light displays and the ICE show, you will want to be sure to check out the other Christmas-themed offerings at Opryland. Thrill-seekers will love racing down a 15-foot-high, four-lane ice tubing hill. Or take a spin around the ice skating rink, featuring more than 8,000 square feet of real ice. The youngest guests in your party will delight in a ride on the miniature train or a whirling adventure on Santa’s Spinners. Cap off your day with a meal at the special Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Feast, giving you the chance to indulge in a delicious array of food and drink while mingling with Rudolph himself. After you have stuffed yourself with all of the seasonal goodies, be sure to take a ride on the iconic horse-drawn carriage through the gorgeous grounds of the resort.

Booking a private car service to the Opryland will take all of the hassles out of this experience, allowing you to relax and enjoy the festivities with your family without worrying about transportation. We look forward to partnering with you this holiday season to ensure that you have a magical time.
