With great food and amazing nightlife, Nashville has become a favorite travel destination. Of course, it also helps being the historic home for country music. The best time to visit Nashville depends on what sort of experience that you’re looking for. Pick the best times to beat the crowds, weather, or enjoy the music or events the Music City has to offer.
Fall is probably you’re best bet for travel in Nashville due largely to the incredible weather and light tourist traffic. Autumn weather starts to take hold in late-September and continues well into early-December. Keep in mind that hotel rates also tend to be a little higher during the fall, which is something to consider, and you’ll definitely want to avoid traveling around Labor Day. The Tennessee State Fair also takes place in the fall, and includes a variety of activities, live bands, livestock exhibitions, games, and thrill rides.
Nashville can be gloomy in the winter and temperatures range from the upper 20s to the 40s. However, this is also the best time for hotel and airfare deals to Nashville. Mid-December through late-February can be chilly, but far less crowded as well. The Christmas decorations at the Opryland Hotel and the Belle Meade Plantation are also worth visiting.
Like the Fall, Spring is the best time in terms of crowds and great weather. Enjoy Nashville and its attractions when the weather is the nicest with high average temperatures starting in the low 70s. Take advantage before the summer rush! It is a little rainier in Spring. May is the rainiest month of the year, with average precipitation reaching 5.5 inches.
Summers in Nashville can get pretty stifling with high humidity and temperatures that can peak in the 90s. June through August is the busiest time to visit with larger crowds than any other time. If you’re into music though, the summer is the time to visit with both the CMA Fest and Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
Really any time is a great time to visit Nashville. The choice is up to you, and if you’re looking for the best choice in transportation, Signature Transportation offers year round car services in Nashville.
You’ve decided on a trip to Nashville. Whether you are heading to Nashville for a girl’s trip, guys trip, or romantic getaway, you’ll definitely want to check out the bars downtown. Once you arrive, you may quickly become overwhelmed by the sheer number of bars that you can check out. Today we’ll share some information about the most popular bars in Nashville to help you make a list of your must-stop places for your upcoming trip.
Known to most as “Tootsies,” Tootsies Orchid Lounge is a must-stop for most people visiting Nashville. Tootsies consists of three floors and they usually have a different live band on each. Tootsies is open from 10 a.m. - 3 a.m. so you can stop by whenever you are ready for some great music. Be sure to snap a pic with the iconic Tootsies sign outside the bar.
2. Tin Roof
If you’re getting hungry in between bars then be sure to stop by Tin Roof. Here you’ll find tasty comfort food and a casual atmosphere. This is a great place for when you need a short break but still want to enjoy what Nashville has to offer. You’ll also find a variety of beers and signature cocktails and plenty of live music. If you are visiting on a Sunday, you may even find a football game on.
3. Wildhorse Saloon
If you’re in the mood for dancing, Wildhorse Saloon needs to be your next stop. The Wildhorse Saloon is a 66,000 square foot bar that also has a restaurant and full dance area! If you’re hungry, you’ll find a great selection of burgers to eat while you enjoy live music. They also have a wide selection of signature cocktails for when you are tired of beer. Keep an eye out for free line dancing lessons while you are there!
4. The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club
If you are looking for a more secluded area, head over to the Fox Bar & Cocktail Club. You’ll need to venture to the basement behind Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen to find this cute and cozy spot. You’ll feel relaxed while lounging in the plush blue velvet booths sipping on one of The Fox’s creative cocktails and lavender kettle corn.
5. Rare Bird
For a breathtaking view of the city, visit Rare Bird where you can hang out at the rooftop bar. Rare Bird is located at the top of hotel Noelle and features two fireplaces. This is another place where you can enjoy a more relaxed scene when you need a break from the cowboy scene.
6. The Patterson House
You may feel a bit confused when you approach The Patterson House because there is no sign on the exterior, unlike most other Nashville bars. Don’t let this keep you away. Once inside, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere where you must be seated to be served. This means that you may have to wait a few minutes for a seat, but believe us, the wait is worth it. Once seated, you’ll want to take your time enjoying your cocktail and enjoying the company of your friends or significant other.
Remember to drive safe in Nashville. Book private and group transportation to Nashville bars with Signature Transportation.
There’s a reason they call Nashville Music City, and it may just have a little something to do with all the great music. Whether you’re looking for a big concert experience or an intimate music hot spot, Nashville is the city for you. Nashville offers music lovers historic venues like the Opry or the Ryman, huge concerts at Bridgestone Arena, and divey-er stages in East Nashville.
If you’re looking for live music Nashville, here are a few of the best places to start:
If you’re visiting Nashville, chances are you’ve already heard of the Grand Ole Opry. The Opry attracts country music fans from all over the world (even if you’re not a country music lover, it’s worth a visit!). The historic live broadcast moved to its current space in 1974 after 30 years at the Ryman Auditorium. The Grand Ole Opry is a little out of the way from downtown Nashville, but always worth the magical journey. The biggest names in country music headline and make surprise appearances there regularly.
The original location of the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium is considered the “the Mother Church of Country Music,” and no other venue in Tennessee can compare to its history with performances by Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, and more. The Ryman remains a country music Mecca to this day and offers annual events like Opry at the Ryman, Bluegrass Nights in the summer, and Sam's Place every winter.
The Station Inn is another historic spot with iconic bluegrass and roots. Every seat provides a perfect view of the stage and a perfect musical experience. Be sure not to miss the Sunday night bluegrass jam, a classic “pickin’ circle” with seasoned pros and aspiring amateurs… you never know how’ll show up.
The Basement’s sister property, The Basement East in East Nashville’s Five Points neighborhood, offers about four times the space and some surprisingly big rock acts (Yo La Tengo, Lee Ann Womack, and Dave Grohl to name a few). Known as the “The Beast,” it has a charming atmosphere including a living room-themed VIP section.
Many legendary country music artists got their start at the Bluebird. Located in a strip mall in Green Hills, the venue is well known to for locals, out-of-town tourists and even A-list stars. Tickets go fast though as space is limited to just 90 seats.
The Cannery Row offers three popular music venues: Mercy Lounge, Cannery Ballroom and The High Watt. The Cannery Ballroom is the largest with a 1,000-person capacity. This is a great place to discover something different than the regular country music acts in Nashville, Cannery Ballroom is home to rock, pop, and indie acts.
There’s no better place to see music on a hot summer night than Ascend Amphitheater. It’s one of Nashville’s only open-air venues and is situated right along the riverfront. Music lovers can enjoy the views of the Nashville skyline and some once-in-a-lifetime shows.
Another great rock and roll venue in Nashville, Exit/In attracts a nearly limitless range of acts to their stage. While there’s not a bad seat in Exit/In, the balcony is definitely the best seat in the house.
Douglas Corner Café is a small lounge-café, but is a memorable piece of Nashville music culture. Tuesdays are open mic nights, and Wednesday through Saturday, there's wide range live music on display. Singers, songwriters, and small acts all pack the calendar throughout the year.
3rd and Lindsley is close to Nashville’s downtown scene and has a more intimate feel. If you’re looking to eat or drink before you hit a show, there’s no better place than 3rd and Lindsley.
Tennessee is known for good music and maybe even better whiskey. After 2009, it became legal to distill spirits outside of Lincoln, Coffee, and Moore counties in Tennessee. Both bringing great whiskeys back to Tennessee and creating incredible new tours throughout the state.

Spend the day sampling whiskeys with friends and family at Tennessee’s best distilleries in Lynchburg, Franklin, Thompson's Station, Nashville, and more.
Here are some of our favorite distilleries in Tennessee:
Easily the most recognizable and iconic whiskey brands in world, the Jack Daniels distillery is located in Lynchburg, TN, about 90 miles from Nashville. The distillery offers several themed tours including a tasting tour, and sample Old. No. 7 and Gentleman Jack as well as lesser-known products like Tennessee Fire and Tennessee Honey.
This micro-distillery is passionate about bourbon. Located in Thompson's Station, you can see how spirits were made the old-fashioned way including down to the lined garbage cans! H Clark Distillery creates hand-labeled batches of its Whiskey, Black & Tan, and Tennessee Bourbon spirits.
Corsair Distillery got its start by two childhood friends brewing beer and wine in their garage. Now this Internationally award-winning distillery has two trendy locations in Nashville. Unique offerings include everything from quinoa whiskey to pumpkin spice moonshine.
Leiper’s Fork Whiskey offers something a little different. Their whiskey has a larger percentage of barley than most Tennessee whiskeys, closer to whiskeys from Scotland and Ireland. Distilled in a 200-year-old barn, Leiper’s Fork brings a more historical frontier tradition to Nashville suburbs.
Formerly known as SPEAKeasy Spirits, there’s always a good time at Pennington Distillery in Nashville. They offer a variety of spirits and super fun whiskey tours in an old airplane hanger. Walk through their facility and experience every step in their process, from grinding the grain to bottling finished products.
Located in rural Tennessee, George Dickel Distillery is 140-years-old that follows in the Scottish tradition including spelling without the E in Whisky. Today George Dickel offers a wide range of whiskys including an aged 90 proof and the Hot Dickel, a spicy Tabasco hot sauce-infused whisky.
Green Brier has been distilling way back before prohibition and Jack Daniels. The distillery now offers whiskeys and bourbons inspired by the pre-Prohibition past.

Sunday is the Gospel Brunch day of the festival with the best chefs offering their take on Southern Cuisine and a variety of brunch items, live Gospel music, and of course wine, beer, and cocktails.
There's nothing like a walk through Downtown Nashville watching fun demos, yummy eats, and cool treats for sipping while listening to live music to give you the ultimate festival experience. Booking chauffeured car service, whether for an airport transfer, a multi-day corporate gala, or a wedding, can be intimidating. There are many questions and uncertainties involved with this process, especially if you’ve never reserved ground transportation before or you’re unfamiliar with the company.
How can you be sure you’re booking with a reliable, reputable transportation provider? How can you be certain you can trust your chauffeur? How can you ensure that the company has the vehicle you need?
To help you sort out your questions and concerns before booking chauffeured transportation, we’ve compiled a list of questions you need to ask your provider before you make a reservation.
If you have a vision of a sleek limousine or a sharp, luxury sedan, you’ll want to make sure that the company you’ve selected has the vehicle that meets your vision.
It’s not just the type of vehicle you have to consider either. Think about why you need transportation in the first place. For example, if you’re planning a wedding, you may need a luxury Sprinter van, minibus, or another large vehicle that can transport your guests. Not all companies will be able to accommodate.
Do a thorough scan of the company’s fleet on their website. Write down the make and model of the car you’d like, and ask for it specifically when you’re ready to book. Make sure you ask your Reservation Specialist to check the specific times to ensure that the vehicle is available for the duration of your event.
Contact information is vital because you will know exactly who contact with certain questions regarding your reservation. Changing your pickup location, choosing a different vehicle, or requesting certain amenities is so much easier when you know who to call.
Many ground transportation companies share billing information directly on their websites. Read that information if it’s available, and go over the billing process again while you’re on the phone with your Reservation Specialist.
Jot down notes, so you have them as a reference. This is especially useful if the company tries to renege on something they initially promised. It also helps if policies suddenly “change” once you’ve used their service. It never hurts to have documentation that supports your agreement. Plus, knowing you’re prepared for any billing-related issues that may arise gives you peace of mind.
Cancellation policies vary from provider to provider. You need to know exactly what your provider expects. Know specifically how far in advance you can cancel without being charged. You should also be aware of any fees that incurred should you miss that deadline.
Don’t get blindsided by unexpected fees. You’re allowed to read the fine print and ask questions, so do it! It’ll hopefully save you money and stress.
A company’s membership in certain professional organizations offers insight into the quality of their service, as well as their reputation within the industry. Any transportation provider should absolutely be a member of the National Limousine Association, as well as the local chamber of commerce and other relevant organizations.
Do a little digging on your own, too. What do their reviews look like on Google, Yelp, and Facebook? Scot online reviews from former customers to ensure that you’re booking with a quality, reputable company that has consistently offered good service over time.
Before you book, get an accurate idea of the company’s hiring practices. You deserve to know what you are entitled to in your experience, and that includes how the company vets the people who sit behind the wheel.
There is a difference between a contacted driver and a professional chauffeur. Know which types of employees the company hires.
On the one hand, a professional chauffeur is a company employee who has been background-checked and carefully interviewed before being hired. Their driving history will have been thoroughly examined, and they will be very familiar with the company’s policies and history of service.
On the other hand, a contracted driver is likely hired to handle single trips on an infrequent basis. Their driving history and background may not be examined thoroughly — or even at all — before being assigned to handle your event.
Ground transportation isn’t something that should be left to chance. With these questions on hand, you’ll be able to get the answers you deserve to make a more important decision.

At Signature, we’ve gotten pretty good at bachelor party planning and can make some great recommendations. Here are three ways to have a better bachelor party in Nashville.
A stretch limousine or SUV is a great option for a Nashville bachelor party. It ensures that everyone has safe transportation while offering a way to party before you even get to the bar.
But these traditional vehicles can also be on the small side, limiting your bachelor party to 8 people if you only book one. Booking two limos for the evening can get pricey, and you’ll be splitting up the group during the all-important car rides to each destination.
Taking a cab or grabbing a car through a rideshare app presents the same issue — not to mention the risk of pesky surge pricing.
The easiest way to remedy this situation is to find a transportation provider that offers party buses.
For a Nashville bachelor party, a party bus is the best way to roll.
With these extras on hand, you can invite all of your friends and keep everyone entertained throughout the evening, even when you aren’t doing shots at the bar or watching a great live show.
Finding places to get drinks is a must for most bachelor parties. But you might not be interested in the typical rowdy honky tonk scene on Nashville’s Broadway. Broadway gets a little tiresome after a while, and Nashville is so much more than that strip of bars. Why not go off the beaten path for a real, authentic Music City experience?
Here are a few of our favorite under-the-radar drink spots in the city:
You probably want to get a little rowdy at your Nashville bachelor party, but if you want to dial it back a notch for the pre-game or just enjoy a more laid-back night, we recommend checking out one of Music City’s more upscale — but unpretentious — establishments.
Nashville offers plenty of destinations for classy cocktails, upscale environment, and expert service. Here are a few of our favorites:
Keep these tips in mind, and your Nashville bachelor party is sure to be a blast. Signature Transportation Services of Nashville looks forward to providing your bachelor party with the transportation it deserves.

Spend the day exploring a nearby town, strolling through an art museum or enjoyed the great outdoors. Wherever your interests lie, a quick excursion can help you escape the monotony of the day-to-day and have fun.
If you live in or near Nashville, there is no shortage of day trips to take this spring and summer. Many of these destinations, which cater to an array of interests, are featured in Signature Transportation’s Nashville Tours. In addition to our well-rounded list of tour offerings, we’re sharing a few more Nashville day trip ideas.
30 minutes south of Nashville
One of the destinations featured in Signature’s specialty tours is historic Downtown Franklin, located a short drive south of Nashville. It’s a great destination for day trips or even entire vacations.
As “America’s Favorite Main Street,” Downtown Franklin has a lot to live up to, and it certainly delivers. Walk along Main Street and check out the local shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the town’s many excellent restaurants, delis and bakeries. Get a healthy dose of history by visiting The Carter House and Carnton Plantation, both open daily for guided tours.
1.5 hours east of Nashville
What was once the site of two mills is now a popular swimming and hiking spot. The gorgeous 211-acre state park is located just outside of Cookeville in Jackson County along the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River.
With two routes to choose from, both of which are 1.5 miles or fewer in length, Cummins Falls is an easy hike, especially for those with kids in tow. The hike culminates at a gorgeous 75-foot waterfall, where you can often find fellow hikers sunning and swimming on a hot summer day.
The terrain can be slippery, so be sure to wear sensible, sturdy shoes. You may even want to bring a pair of water shoes.
2.5 hours southeast of Nashville
Lookout Mountain, a mountain ridge located along the Tennessee-Georgia state line, is another great outdoorsy day trip idea for Nashvillians. Take a guided cave tour of Ruby Falls and see the world’s tallest underground waterfall. Take a walk through the Rock City Gardens, soaking in seasonal flora, fauna and the famous “See Seven States” view. Of course, no trip to Lookout Mountain is complete without a ride on the Incline Railway — the steepest passenger railway in the world. Make it to the stop and take in breathtaking views from the observation deck.
This scenic attraction is an ideal day trip for those who want to escape the confines of city life. There are also several cafes and restaurants where hungry visitors can enjoy a bite to eat.
2 hours northwest of Nashville
This scenic 170,000-acre peninsula is located between the Kentucky and Barkley Lakes in Western Kentucky and Tennessee. Fed by the Cumberland and Tennesee Rivers, the area was designated a national recreation area by President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
With 300 miles of natural shoreline, Lake Between the Lakes offers a picturesque setting for water sports, fishing and boating, as well as camping and hiking. Licensed hunts for deer, turkey, squirrel and other small game are held throughout the year.
In addition to the multitude of recreational activities, visitors can also experience the Woodlands Nature Station, the Elk & Bison Prairie, an 1850s-era working farm with a handful of log cabins original to the property and the Golden Pond Planetarium and Observatory.
Nature walks, activities and seminars perfect for children are also held throughout the year.
Whichever destination you choose for your Nashville day trip, we hope you choose Signature Transportation to handle your travel. Signature has a beautiful fleet of various vehicles that can accommodate groups of all sizes, as well as a team of the most professional chauffeurs in the industry. You can also reserve distillery tours with Whiskey Trail Tours.

Getting around Nashville during CMA Fest is a headache. The event draws nearly 100,000 fans each year to Downtown Nashville. Traffic here is already pretty congested, but a huge event like this causes a HUGE influx of traffic.
You’ve likely purchased your tickets months ago and waiting anxiously. The last thing you want is to get off schedule.
Rideshare apps and taxis are available, but they aren’t necessarily to wisest options. There is a limited number of drivers working, and rideshare apps are replete with surcharges based on the insane surge in ride demand.
For an event like CMA Fest, chauffeured car service is the best way to travel. Book your car service vehicle now to ensure that you have reliable transportation throughout your CMA Fest experience. Contact Signature Transportation to request a free quote or to learn more about our vehicles and services for this year’s CMA Fest.
A nice hotel (re: home base) is vital for a good CMA Fest experience. You’ll want a comfortable place to rest your head after a long day trekking around Music City under the sun. There are tons of great hotels that are either a walk or car ride away from all the festivities. Here are a few Nashville hotels we recommend:
It’s important to know what to expect, especially if this is your first rodeo. Walking in without having done any research is a major disadvantage.
There are tons of free concerts daily plus free activites, many of which are family-friendly. CMA Fest free concert stages include the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage, the Chevrolet Cruze Park Stage, the HGTV Lodge, and the Gildan Broadway Stage at Hard Rock Cafe.
Broadway shuts down to become “The Buckle:” three blocks of country music, complete with food, giveaways, games, karaoke, and plenty of people-watching. Visit Fan Alley in front of the beautiful Schermerhorn Symphony Center. It’s one big party!
Signature Transportation has called Nashville home for years, and we handle CMA Fest transportation every summer. To learn more about our CMA Fest packages or for more information about our services, contact us today.
To help you find the perfect Nashville watering holes for your upcoming bar crawl or night out, Signature Transportation is sharing some of our favorite spots in the city.
There is a ton of bars in Downtown Nashville that are perfect for a bar crawl. They offer plenty of drinks, a great atmosphere and a plethora of patrons for mingling and people-watching.
+ Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge: With its prime location behind The Ryman — The Mother Church of Country Music — as well as its connection to many of country music’s biggest stars, including Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline, it’s easy to see why Tootsie’s is a must-see during your Nashville bar crawl.
+ Robert’s Western World: This historic bar on Broadway started out as a steel guitar shop and eventually transformed (or perhaps devolved?) into the good-time country music venue it’s known as today.
+ The Patterson House: It can be fun to get a little rowdy, but for those who want something a bit more swanky than Broadway, look no further than The Patterson House. No other place in Nashville compares to this speakeasy-style cocktail lounge on Division Street. Tin ceilings, dim lighting and great music set the mood, but the real star of the show are their handcrafted cocktails prepared by expert bartenders. The cocktail servers are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions on drinks based on what you already like.
+ Broadway Brewhouse & Mojo: With locations in Downtown and Midtown, Broadway Brewhouse is among the most easily reachable spots on our list. Its beer list is impressive, and so is the food.
East Nashville yields plenty of excellent bars to include in your crawl, especially for those who aren’t so keen on honky tonks and tourists:
+ 3 Crow Bar: One of the crown jewels of the 5 Points neighborhood, 3 Crow Bar is a lively stop on any weekend night, with an extensive beer menu, pub food, plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor patio. If you stop in on a weeknight, you can take advantage of their happy hour, which often includes two-for-ones on craft beers.
+ No. 308: Located on Gallatin amid local shops and cafes, No. 308 offers a charged East Nashville atmosphere, with a dynamic drink menu and plenty of locals.
+ The 5 Spot: Another great stop in East Nashville for your bar crawl is The 5 Spot, which doubles as a popular venue for local artists. Stop in on the weekend to get a taste of the local music scene and sample some of their affordable beers and drinks.
+ Mickey’s Tavern: This unassuming, no-frills spot on the corner of Gallatin and Trinity is one of the most popular nightlife spots in East Nashville. The back porch is expansive and comfortable, even during the wintertime, while the picnic tables in the courtyard are perfect for those who want an open-air experience. There are darts, a pool table, a jukebox and plenty of good beers on tap.
A bar crawl requires safe transportation. After all, you want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about the dangers of driving at the end of the night.
Securing safe, chauffeured transportation is easy in Nashville. You can choose your vehicle according to your group’s size and enjoy a professional, knowledgeable chauffeur throughout the evening. You can also reserve a Whiskey Trail Tour shuttle to bars, distilleries, and wineries throughout Nashville.
When you’ve knocked back your last tall one, there will be a chauffeur and a luxury vehicle waiting to take everyone home.
Music City’s top transportation provider lets you in on a few secrets.
So you’ve decided to make a visit to Music City? Good choice.
Now it’s time to make sure you don’t look like a tourist…since born and raised Nashvillians can usually tell a local from someone who’s just in for the week.
Sure, you may think Music City is all about country music and cowboy boots, and on some level you’d be right, but there’s much more to this beloved city than popular culture would have you believe.
We’re no mecca of skyscrapers and flashy lights (though Broadway in Nashville is beautiful at night), but we’ve got plenty to keep your attention.
Want to blend in and really mingle with the locals during your upcoming visit? Here are some easy ways NOT to look like a tourist.
Sure, if you go to Broadway on a Friday or Saturday night (or any night really there’s always live music playing) you’re bound to see hundreds of people wearing cowboy boots. Those are tourists, too. Save those for the rodeo.
Again, you might see a cowboy hat every now and then in the Country Music Hall of Fame, but it’s probably in a glass display case because it was worn by Hank Williams. Nashvillians don’t make it a habit to wear a Stetson unless we’re dressing up as a Texan for Halloween.
East Nashville gets a bad rap because of a history of crime and a particular rough patch in the ’90s. Nowadays, the area is actually thriving.
It’s going through its own little renaissance, and if you’re in the hot spots of East Nashville, you’re not a tourist…. you’re family. Check out The Pharmacy for the best burger of your life, The Five Spot for amazing live music, The Wild Cow for vegan and gluten-free dining, and Bongo Java for a unique atmosphere and outstanding coffee.
Want to buy records or musical equipment? Stop by Fanny’s House of Music or The Fond Object. There are local bakeries, thrift stores, and grocery stores, too.
We don’t all say “y’all,” and we’re not as “country” as you might think.
Actually, we’re a city full of diverse cultures and communities; a good number of us are transplants from cities and countries far away.
Don’t believe us? Check out the Greek Festival in Centennial Park, the African Street Festival, or the NAIA Pow Wow. The majority of country music stars migrated here from other places, too. For example, Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, and Vince Gill are from Oklahoma, while Alan Jackson is from Georgia, George Straight is from Texas and Merle Haggard was actually born in California.
If you’re looking for great sweet tea, a born-and-raised Southern grandma can fix you up right. Or, if you’re out and about in the city, you can go to Arnold’s on 8th Avenue South, or take a longer drive down Highway 100 to the world-famous Loveless Café. In the South, we drink sweet tea the right way, on ice, with sugar and a lemon wedge.
We’re not all about country music. Even though country is what Nashville is known for, we’ve got so much more to offer when it comes to the musical realm.
In fact, our recording studios work on everything from gospel to rap, from indie to psychedelic and everything in between. There are tons of venues around the city that cater more to indie, rock and roll or electronic music; think the Cannery Ballroom, Mercy Lounge, The Basement East, Marathon Music Works or Exit/In.
Ever heard of Jack White, The Black Keys, or Kings of Leon? They all live here and play here regularly.
Nashville is home to many celebrities, and not just singers. We’ve got Nicole Kidman, Connie Britton, Hayden Panetierre, Reese Witherspoon, and Al Gore. They chose Nashville because locals leave them alone and let them do their own thing. Respect their privacy, and help us keep Nashville the charming little Southern city that it is.
Even though Nashville is pretty metropolitan, we’re still a welcoming, accessible city that prides itself on being a great spot to visit.
The holidays are all about family, but shopping for presents, preparing feasts, coordinating visits with extended family, wrapping aforementioned presents and decorating your home leave little time to spend with your family. In the midst of all the holiday madness, getting away for a special family night seems impossible.
Family togetherness is the theme of the season after all, and finding ways to connect with your loved ones that don’t involve the mad rush to buy presents or get the turkey in the oven are too valuable to pass up.
If you’ll be in Nashville this holiday season, stick with the feeling of togetherness by spending a night out with your family. The Nashville area is home to a handful of holiday lights displays that are the perfect way to welcome the season. Make your night even more special by booking chauffeured car service for the evening. Your chauffeur will take care of the navigation and parking so you can simply relax in the backseat with your family.
Here are some of our favorite Nashville holiday lights this year:
Chad’s Winter Wonderland
This Lebanon lights display boasts over 2 million lights and features one of the most elaborate layouts in the area – and the country. In fact, Chad’s Winter Wonderland was featured on an episode of “Good Morning America” a few years back. The drive-thru lights display is open Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve and has 8 acres of displays, as well as a Christmas music radio station you can listen to while you make your way through. Note: Chad’s Winter Wonderland is cash-only.
A Country Christmas at Gaylord Opryland
The Gaylord Opryland Hotel in one of Music City’s most time-honored holiday traditions. The interior and exterior of the iconic hotel are absolutely drenched in lights and extravagant holiday décor, including perfectly manicured landscaping and a beautiful outdoor nativity scene. There is fun to be had for all ages. Take a ride down the ice slide, go snow tubing, ice skate, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or decorate a gingerbread house. Kids will have plenty to marvel at, and you’ll love the variety of entertainment.
The Dancing Lights of Christmas
Jellystone Park, a popular family campground in Nashville, transforms into a drive-thru winter wonderland every holiday season complete with hundreds of thousands of lights, huge displays and animatronic decorations. They also have a custom radio station that plays Christmas tunes to accompany your drive. Afterward, visit Santa’s Village for cookies and hot cocoa, kid-friendly activities and pictures with Santa. The Dancing Lights will be spreading Christmas cheer to folks from all over Middle Tennessee through January 1.
What better way to get into the holiday spirit than by spending a night out at one of Nashville’s holiday lights displays with your family? Make your evening even more memorable by booking Signature car service to get you there. Take a break from the holiday madness and let us handle the driving.
