St. Patrick's Day Nashville

Whether you’re from Irish descent or not, St. Patrick’s Day has turned into a fun celebration for all.  Nashville will see folks dressed in their green attire, chugging down green beer, and listening to traditional Irish tunes. Looking to get a jumpstart on your plans?  We’ve got you covered.  Signature has put together a guide for getting your green on in the Music City this weekend.

Start off your St. Patrick’s weekend on Friday, March 15 with Irish Cheer and a little Irish luck. It’s the BIG kick-off party beginning at 5 p.m. presented by Joonbug.com, located at 322 on Broadway. Honor the Emerald Isle and celebrate with the leprechauns and shamrocks, along with your Irish descendants. This is a four day event which also includes: the Irish Stroll on Saturday afternoon, Get Shamrocked on Saturday evening, and then Irish Scroll again on Sunday.

The Annual Stache Lives Party. This is the party of all parties, located in downtown Nashville at the Tin Roof on Demonbreun. The party begins on Saturday, March 16 at noon until 2 a.m. Live entertainers include: Kevin Federline, Jonny Grande, Trinidad James, DJ Afterthought, and JR from Radio station 106.7. There will be at least 12 bars with drink specials, giveaways, food trucks, and an added bonus, two jumbo screens playing college basketball. Come cheer for your favorite team in an amazingly exuberant atmosphere. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

St. Patrick’s Day in Nashville also includes the Lucky Sasquatch street party held on the street between Von Eldrod’s and First Tennessee Park. The street will be shut down for all the Irish clan to participate in some fun yard games. There will be drink specials, local vendors, and at least nine bars. Attendees will also be able to watch college basketball on two giant screens, along with listening to live music, such as: Jimmy Rock, The Spazmatics, DJ Casanova, 2 Live Crew, and more. The celebration begins on Saturday, March 16 from noon until 1 a.m. with tickets priced at $15 in advance and $20 for re-entry.

One of the most popular events is the Bar Crawl, held in both downtown and in East Nashville. It’s the perfect way to commend the Irish holiday with some of Nashville’s much-loved bars, including: Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Robert’s Western World, Broadway Brewhouse and Mojo, the 5 Spot, and Mickey’s Tavern.

Another popular event is St. Patrick’s Day Music City Half, 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile held on Saturday, March 16 beginning at Cumberland River Compact and Victory Avenue. This event kicks off at 8 a.m. with entrance fees from $25-$70.

Instead of drinking and driving to all your favorite Irish bars, consider booking a private car or service for your Nashville transportation. It’s the safest way to spend St. Patrick s Day in Nashville with No Worries!!!
