Music City Food + Wine Festival 2019

The 7th Annual Music City Food and Wine Festival is set for September 20-22, 2019 and is an amazing, authentic experience for those who love gourmet food and exceptional wines. The festival is spread between Bicentennial Park and the Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville.

The Music City Food and Wine Festival was created by famed chef Jonathan Waxman, producer of Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and the Austin Food + Wine Festival, Grammy winning fellow Nashville residents Kings of Leon, and Andy Mendelsohn and Ken Levitan of Vector Management.

Highlights of this weekend-long event include live music, panels, demos, and the opportunity to savor delicious foods and sip some amazing beverages. Along with the famous chefs and restaurants serving up tasty treats over the entire weekend, there is also Harvest Night to look forward to. Harvest Night is on Friday evening for ages 21 and over consisting of live music and cocktails, wine, and main brand beers. Ticket options include a pass for all three days, Friday night, Saturday during the day, Harvest Night (Saturday), and Sunday Brunch.

This year the big names that will grace the festival are country artist and TV host Martina McBride, chef and TV host Tyler Florence, chef Masaharu Morimoto, and festival partner, TV host, and GIFFT Wine representative Kathie Lee Gifford plus a plethora of other chefs, music artists, and wine experts.

Friday and Saturday have no shortage of live music, dancing, demos, competitions, culinary tastings, and more from chefs and an assortment of alcoholic drinks, but Sunday has something special of its own to offer as well. Sunday is the Gospel Brunch day of the festival with the best chefs offering their take on Southern Cuisine and a variety of brunch items, live Gospel music, and of course wine, beer, and cocktails.

There's nothing like a walk through Downtown Nashville watching fun demos, yummy eats, and cool treats for sipping while listening to live music to give you the ultimate festival experience. However, just like any other large Metropolitan, Nashville is a nightmare to navigate and find a parking place during events like this. Therefore, it is highly recommended to book a private car for festival transportation and leave the driving to the experts. Enjoy all the perks of the festival without the headache of trying to drive and park in downtown Nashville with your own festival transportation driver.
