8 Stops for Your Nashville Bar Crawl

To help you find the perfect Nashville watering holes for your upcoming bar crawl or night out, Signature Transportation is sharing some of our favorite spots in the city.

Downtown Stops

There is a ton of bars in Downtown Nashville that are perfect for a bar crawl. They offer plenty of drinks, a great atmosphere and a plethora of patrons for mingling and people-watching.

+ Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge: With its prime location behind The Ryman — The Mother Church of Country Music — as well as its connection to many of country music’s biggest stars, including Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline, it’s easy to see why Tootsie’s is a must-see during your Nashville bar crawl.

+ Robert’s Western World: This historic bar on Broadway started out as a steel guitar shop and eventually transformed (or perhaps devolved?) into the good-time country music venue it’s known as today.

+ The Patterson House: It can be fun to get a little rowdy, but for those who want something a bit more swanky than Broadway, look no further than The Patterson House. No other place in Nashville compares to this speakeasy-style cocktail lounge on Division Street. Tin ceilings, dim lighting and great music set the mood, but the real star of the show are their handcrafted cocktails prepared by expert bartenders. The cocktail servers are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions on drinks based on what you already like.

+ Broadway Brewhouse & Mojo: With locations in Downtown and Midtown, Broadway Brewhouse is among the most easily reachable spots on our list. Its beer list is impressive, and so is the food.

East Nashville Stops

East Nashville yields plenty of excellent bars to include in your crawl, especially for those who aren’t so keen on honky tonks and tourists:

+ 3 Crow Bar: One of the crown jewels of the 5 Points neighborhood, 3 Crow Bar is a lively stop on any weekend night, with an extensive beer menu, pub food, plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor patio. If you stop in on a weeknight, you can take advantage of their happy hour, which often includes two-for-ones on craft beers.

+ No. 308: Located on Gallatin amid local shops and cafes, No. 308 offers a charged East Nashville atmosphere, with a dynamic drink menu and plenty of locals.

+ The 5 Spot: Another great stop in East Nashville for your bar crawl is The 5 Spot, which doubles as a popular venue for local artists. Stop in on the weekend to get a taste of the local music scene and sample some of their affordable beers and drinks.

+ Mickey’s Tavern: This unassuming, no-frills spot on the corner of Gallatin and Trinity is one of the most popular nightlife spots in East Nashville. The back porch is expansive and comfortable, even during the wintertime, while the picnic tables in the courtyard are perfect for those who want an open-air experience. There are darts, a pool table, a jukebox and plenty of good beers on tap.

Getting Around

A bar crawl requires safe transportation. After all, you want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about the dangers of driving at the end of the night.

Securing safe, chauffeured transportation is easy in Nashville. You can choose your vehicle according to your group’s size and enjoy a professional, knowledgeable chauffeur throughout the evening. You can also reserve a Whiskey Trail Tour shuttle to bars, distilleries, and wineries throughout Nashville.

When you’ve knocked back your last tall one, there will be a chauffeur and a luxury vehicle waiting to take everyone home.
