As you would expect, the ideal candidate for this position will have three years of commercial driving experience and a clean driving record. For our CDL positions, a P endorsement is required.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, 401K match, short-term disability, Paid Time Off and Holiday pay. In addition, we are offering a sign on bonus in the amount of $1,000 ( ½ paid after 90 days, ½ paid after 6 months of employment)!

Non-CDL Positions: *Annual compensation averages $40,000-$70,000

CDL: *Annual compensation averages $50,000-$105,000

*(includes base wage, gratuity, and other variable compensation)

Responsibilities:

  • Safe operation of commercial vehicles
  • Inspect vehicle upon arrival to duty
  • Communicate with operations using tablet and/or text messaging
  • Transport airport clients safely and efficiently
  • Fuel and clean interior of the vehicle

Chauffeur Team Leader - Full-time

Job Summary: 

As the Chauffeur Team Leader at Signature Transportation Services, you will play a crucial role by monitoring the needs and expectations between chauffeurs, dispatch, and management for a clear communication between the parties to ensure smooth coordination of activities that are critical for an ultimate customer experience. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the daily operations to identify areas of improvement to optimize communication and to enhance workflow efficiency between chauffeurs and dispatch. With your strong leadership skills and ability to foster effective teamwork, your contribution will help address many of the chauffeurs’ concerns that will translate into greater job satisfaction and exceptional chauffeur services for our clients. Responsibilities:  

1.      Team Leadership:  

o   Monitor and provide guidance to the chauffeur staff, ensuring their adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.  

o   Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and provide coaching and training, as necessary.  

o   Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a high standard of service.  

2.      Communication Coordination:  

o   Serve as the central point of contact between chauffeurs, dispatch, and management, facilitating effective and efficient communication.  

o   Coordinate chauffeur schedules, ensuring optimal coverage for client bookings and handling any schedule changes or adjustments.  

o   Implement efficient communication channels and tools to enhance information flow between drivers and relevant stakeholders.  

3.      Workflow Optimization:  

o   Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and implement strategies to enhance the overall coordination and effectiveness of chauffeur operations.  

o   Collaborate with dispatch to ensure accurate and timely assignment of chauffeurs to client bookings, considering factors such as driver availability, skills, and client preferences.  

o   Monitor and manage chauffeur assignments to minimize downtime, reduce conflicts, and maximize productivity.  

4.      Quality Assurance:  

o   Ensure compliance with company standards for chauffeur performance, including punctuality, professional appearance, and adherence to traffic regulations.  

o   Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, cleanliness, and maintenance to maintain a high standard of service.  

o   Implement quality control measures and gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall service delivery.  

5.      Reporting and Analysis:  

o   Collect and analyze data related to chauffeur performance, including on-time performance, customer feedback, and any incidents or accidents.  

o   Prepare regular reports summarizing key performance indicators and present findings to management for review and decision-making.  

  

Compensation: 

The company will pay a fixed salary for the team leadership position and the current level of compensation (base hourly + gratuities) for driving duties. 

  

Requirements:  

·        High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in transportation management or related field is a plus.  

·        Proven experience as a chauffeur or in a supervisory role within the transportation industry.  

·        Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.  

·        Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.  

·        Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.  

·        Knowledge of local traffic regulations, routes, and popular destinations.  

·        Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and transportation technology.  

·        Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.  

·        Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

DISPATCHER – *2ND SHIFT; FULL-TIME/PART-TIME *OVERNIGHT; PART-TIME

As you would expect, the ideal candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills to facilitate awesome interactions with our clients and other team members.

We offer a competitive base salary starting at $41,600 ($20.00/hour) with an additional $2/hour increase at the first-year anniversary. We offer a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off, and Holiday Pay. In addition, we are offering a sign-on bonus in the amount of $1,000 ( ½ paid after 90 days, ½ paid after 6 months of employment)!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee dispatching professional chauffeurs to pick up and drop off locations both locally and nationally
  • Answer incoming calls to the dispatch department
  • Communicate with drivers and clients by email and telephone
  • Monitor and update active reservations using state of the art software
  • Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles based on workload
  • Establish rapport with drivers
  • Maintain a close working relationship with our other departments

Important Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Client Service-oriented professional with experience handling client complaints and finding workable solutions to resolve client concerns
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail

 

2nd Shifts:

  • Full-Time; 4 evenings 40 hours-2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
  • Part-Time; 2 evenings 20 hours-2:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Overnight:

  • Part-Time; 2 nights 20 hours 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
