Memorial Day in Nashville

Memorial Day is a time to honor our American heroes, but it’s also time to relax and enjoy the time we have with our loved ones. From comedy shows, art exhibits, concerts, and ballgames, Nashville is the perfect place to spend your Memorial Day.

Musicians Corner

Musicians Corner offers free family friendly music events in Centennial Park every Saturdays through May & June. Musicians Corner will be offering a Friday show, May 24, with Will Hoge, Shelly Colvin, Emily Earle, Karina Daza and Avi Jacob. Saturday’s show will be featuring Aaron Lee Tasjan, Erin Rae, A.J. & the Jiggawatts, Sontalk and EG Vines.

Granville Heritage Day

Step into the past with Granville Heritage Day. Located in the historic riverboat town of Granville, 65 miles northeast of Nashville, Granville Heritage Day festivities include a fiddle competition, parade, demonstrations of 1860 pioneer craft, antique car & tractor and show, magic show, and bluegrass festival. Heritage Day takes place May 25.

Nashville Sounds

Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, the Nashville Sounds are in their fifth season at First Tennessee Park. The Nashville Sound will be playing games vs the Memphis Redbirds on May 24 and 25 (the Friday game will feature fireworks), and vs the Round Rock Express on May 25, 26, and 27. The game on the 26th will feature Memorial Day Weekend themed fireworks display and an all-you-can-eat-and-drink cookout hosted on the exclusive club level of First Tennessee Park. The Sounds will also be wearing their Military Jerseys to honor all the men and women serving in our US Military.

Nashville Flea Market - The Fairgrounds Nashville

The Nashville Flea Market is always open for shopping on the Fourth weekend of every month, and will be taking place May 24 -26. It’s a fun opportunity to walk around and find deals on one-of-a-kind items: antique furniture, knick-knacks, specialty foods, boutique clothing, jewelry, fine leather goods, and more.

Memorial Day Fireworks

The Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort offers a Memorial Day Fireworks show in Hermitage, TN, on May 26. A fireworks show at the Lakeside Resort is like two shows in one with the beautiful fireworks display reflected on Percy Priest Lake.
